ABOUT FURP
Industrial Development Foundation – is a non-profit organisation that works to support and promote Polish industry, especially in the area of digital transformation and innovation. Our goal is to help entrepreneurs adapt to changing market and technological conditions, as well as to build competitiveness and sustainable development. We work with academic institutions, research centres, business environment organisations and public administration to create a favourable environment for the development of the industry of the future.
Our activities focus on three main areas:
- Informing and educating – we organise training courses, workshops, conferences and publications to raise the awareness and competence of entrepreneurs and employees in the field of Industry 4.0,automation, artificial intelligence, the internet of things and other modern technologies;
- Support and counselling – we offer individual and group consultation, mentoring, coaching and audits to help entrepreneurs in diagnosing needs, planning and implementing digital transformation projects, changing business models and product or process innovation;
- Connecting and integrating – we are building a network of cooperation between entrepreneurs, scientists, experts and technology suppliers to facilitate the exchange of knowledge, experience and good practices, and create synergistic effects for the development of industries.
The Industrial Development Foundation was established on the initiative of a group of entrepreneurs from the Świętokrzyskie Region who saw the need to create a platform of cooperation and support for local industry. The Foundation operates across the country, with its headquarters in Kielce. The Foundation is the member of the “Lewiatan” Świętokrzyskie Association of Private Employers and the Polish Business Forum.
The Foundation cooperates with the Kielce University of Technology, Jan Kochanowski University, Kielce Technology Park. The Foundation is also a member of the EDIH consortium.
